Tiffany Mockler, MS, LMFT, is an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Nugent Family Counseling Center, currently seeing clients in our San Jose, CA location both in-office and throught teletherapy. Licensed in Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, she is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Mrs. Mockler received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rochester Medical Center, located in Rochester, New York with a focus in Medical Family Therapy and learning in collaborative, interdisciplinary contexts.
Prior to joining the team at Nugent Family Counseling Center, Tiffany worked in special education for numerous school districts. She also held positions at The Bill Wilson Center, Evergreen Valley College Psychological Services, Hillside Children’s Center, Monroe Community Hospital, and The University of Rochester Medical Center.
At Nugent Family Counseling Center, Tiffany works with children, adolescents, and families who are impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder, educational difficulties, and medical conditions. She is dedicated to all of her patients and strives to provide quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
In session, Tiffany focuses on her client’s strengths and resources, as well as the things that they are currently doing right as a way of enhancing and developing ways to overcome the challenges that bring them to therapy. Her practice emphasizes a biopsychosocial approach to mental health counseling that is evidence-based, solution-focused, and client-centered.
